It is proposed that a full day trip for region members, is made to The Yorkshire Wildlife Park to enable members the freedom to select from a wide range of animal targets for photographic opportunities.

The park has developed well since its opening in 2009, into an excellent opportunity for photographers to “capture” more than 70 species of wild animals, housed mainly in open air spaces with more natural surroundings than many zoo’s.

The visit will start at 1000hrs with a welcome coffee and short briefing to establish the day’s itinerary, and it is expected that the day will close at 1630hrs.

There will, of course, be ample opportunity to learn from each other. The intention is to ensure the greatest degree of freedom for members on the day, and no guided tour will be included.

The venue is adequately covered for refreshment locations, however, it is primarily an outdoor location and there are limited places for undercover shelter should the weather be unkind, it is recommended that you bring suitable outdoor raingear.

It is essential to book in advance so that we can ensure the group booking arrangements, and forward a more detailed itinerary and meeting details to attendees.

Please book your place, online, no later than 1st August 2019.
The cost of £17 includes entrance to the park
